1x Cake Mix, 1x Icing Mix,

Ingredients & Allergens

Plain flour (Wheat flour, Calcium carbonate, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine), Wheat Gluten, Sugar (or sucrose), Icing sugar (Cane sugar, maize starch), Baking powder (Raising Agents - Sodium Acid pyrophosphate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, Wheat flour (with calcuim, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine), Salt (Anti caking agent E535)

Instructions

1.     Preheat oven to 180c fan and line a loaf tin with parchment paper

2.     Put the juice from one lemon, the milk, the oil and sachet 1 into a mixing bowl. If you have a lemon zester, put the zest from the lemon into the bowl, if not don’t worry!

3.     Mix until everything is combined. Put the cake batter into the tin. Place into the oven for 45-50mins, or until a skewer stabbed into the centre comes out clean

4.     Remove from the oven and leave to cool completely, taking the loaf out of the tin when cool enough to do so

5.     For the icing, put sachet 2 and the juice of half a lemon into a bowl. Mix together until you have a smooth icing

6.     Pour the icing over the cooled cake. Enjoy!

We’ve made the instructions pretty simple, but it’s always more fun with company.
